Crunchy tits, anyone?
Munching on kacang putih or assorted nuts is a Malaysian thing. But I wonder if this stall operator has that something 'extra' to offer? Shot this at Asia Cafe in Subang. It should've read Tidbits.

Inexpressible pleasure
Yes, way beyond description. I was allowed to sink my teeth into Auntie Anne's choc-mint pretzel last nite! :) It won't be till another month before the craving set's in again. Here are three simple steps to enjoy your AA choc mint pretzel(s):

STEP 1 : DROOL

Yes, this is a must. Pretend you've been deprived of AA's pretzels (even if you already have it in your hands).

Tease your tastebuds for at least 5 minutes. This will ensure ultimate satisfaction when it eventually lands in your mouth.

Remember, without drooling, the experience is incomplete!

STEP 2 : CARESS

Now, this is similar to foreplay, which you would all agree is the fundamental part of lovemaking.

A more attentive form of foreplay will bring increased pleasure to both partners, and make the sexual experience more satisfying.

Bad analogy but... you know what I mean.

STEP 3 : GO FOR GOLD!

Needless to say, this is a self-explanatory step. If all of the above steps are observed properly, you will experience what I always do.

And once you do, you will agree... the experience is incommunicable.

For only RM2.90 (USD$0.80), you wouldn't want to miss this one...

Part III : CSR Project - Precious Children's Home
It was a blast! Everything went as planned. The students arrived as early as 7am to setup the venue. My buddy Gurmeet from Wellworth sponsored two large canopies and his boys were there at 8am to assemble the stuff. The sound system was also sponsored. The students were uniformly dressed in red tops and were ready for action by 9am.

But their lecturer only arrived at 9.30am! :) Ruby and I were delayed due to a late night farewell party :) Thanks Jag for inviting us. We had fun but couldn't stay for long. Hope Hardy has arrived safely in Melbourne.

Back to the story. Upon arriving at ProJet, we had a briefing and by 10am operations commenced! The cheerleaders did a fantastic job by making the event known to passerbies in the area. The music selection was good and the carwashers cum dancers were even better! It was certainly not your normal neighbourhood kinda car wash.

It rained for a bit in the afternoon but that did not dampen the spirit of the students. In the evening, the ProJet station in Hartamas was packed with cars! It was as though a new joint had opened in the area. The crowd was massive and we had a feast admiring all sorts of flashy cars.

Tagged at RM10.00 (USD$2.80), customers not only got their cars washed received heaps of free goodies and were entertained beyond their money’s worth! Here's the interesting bit... there were some customers who were very generous and donated RM350-1000 for one wash! Malaysians at their best, I must say :)

Hundreds of photos were shot to document the event. However, not all can be shared here...

She's literally the mother of this class.

Ruby-dooby and I cheering for the dancers!

Yeah, I got me Suzy-woozy washed too
and decided to give it a go at washing!

Aaah... that spit-shine! :)

Good job fellas :)

Battle of the car-washers. Good fun! :)

Yes, this is my Corporate Communications final year class.
That's me sitting on the curb... trying to hide from attention.

And that me with the class again, just before calling it the day.

In a nutshell, their CSR project was a success. The students are now in the midst of sorting out their accounts. All proceeds will be thoroughly accounted, audited and channeled to Precious Children's Home.

In a few more weeks, this bunch will be graduating. Parting is inevitable :( Wish them all the luck this world can offer. Will miss you people dearly...

Part II : CSR Project - Precious Children's Home
My Corporate Communications class has gone all out to rake in funds and sponsorship from various organizations. We're expecting lots of merchandise and sorts to trickle in till the very last minute. The project has grown two-fold from the original plan. In fact, it's still growing by the hour...

If you're in the area next Saturday, 21st April 2007, do swing-by the Projet gas station at Desa Sri Hartamas. Click here to view location map.

CSR Project - Precious Children's Home
For their final semester project, I assigned my senior Corporate Communications class to plan and execute a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project involving a deserving non-governmental organization of their choice.

The key objective of this CSR project is to create awareness of an NGO's plight to our local community. The project entails putting the students Corporate Communications theoretical knowledge and analytical skills into practice.

The class conducted an extensive research in the month of February, identifying and short-listing NGOs in the Klang Valley. In the end, they chose Precious Children's Home (PCH) as beneficiary of their CSR project. Their decision was primarily based on locality, low-funds status and the multicultural environment of the home.

The first thing they did was to create a logo for the home.
What a brilliant idea rather than letting PCH be a faceless entity.

The students were quick to mobilize themselves; the class was transformed into a Corp Comm consultancy (named dB Communication) with each student assuming a specific role. They even created a blog to report their progress. There are heaps of photos there! Very impressive.

A host of activities were executed throughout March, including a 'get to know the children' programme, where they took turns to visit PCH on weekends.

During each visit, they engaged in fun yet educational activities such as singing and dancing, colouring, story-telling, telematches, etc. When asked on the purpose of these activities, they said it was to increase the children's confidence and self esteem. Fair.

All the above-mentioned activities were geared towards complementing their main fundraising event, which is an ingenious charity Musical Car Wash. This is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 21st of April 2007 at the ProJet gas station at Desa Sri Hartamas.

As project advisor, I operate from the sidelines just to make sure they get the work done. I refrain from interfering in their policies and decision-making. After all, it's their show!

Goodbye Windows, Hello Linux!

Just migrated from a Windows based platform to Linux. The most noticeable difference is its blazing speed and simplified control panel. Otherwise, no radical dissimilarities. Perhaps it's too soon to see and feel the variations between both platforms.

This posting is just to put the Linux server to test. The migration process was pretty smooth; everything works great but somehow this blog got affected. There are some broken links and images can't seem to load.

Will spend the next couple of days working on it and hopefully I'm able to get it up and running just the way it was previously.
