A fair number of my students are bloggers too. However, little do they know that I have bookmarked their respective blogs. And yes, I frequently visit their blogs; all thanks to one lil' birdy who constantly feeds me with all these URLs :) Here are a few amusing/interesting lines extracted from their blog postings:

I was thinking to back when my current semester started. Everyone was talking about how cool Lecturer-X was and how we were lucky to have him as our lecturer. And on the other side, everyone was bitching about Hardip and how he's rude and cruel with no reason. Errr...HELLO! Right now, I'd stuff a spiked broom up X's arse and throw Hardip a friggin' luau!
Do we "judge books by their covers'?"
Of course we do. We're human... it's only natural to judge, rite? I guess the way to work around that is to not allow that judgment to affect us. That's my advice to all you people who asked me *that* question last night. I just close one eye ;) *walks into streetlight*

Yesterday's Media,Culture & Society class was hilarious!! Hardip(lecturer) was talking about role conflict, and he rejected an example gave by the bimbos of my class. Then the head of the bimbos just couldn't let it go, she kept argue & argue & argue for the whole 10 or 15 mins. Finally she got pissed off bcoz the whole class , some were laughing their ass out, 1 asked her to listen to the lecturer, one asked her to shut up, I told Hardip to just accept their example LOL!!!
Fuckin hilarious seeing her getting pissed off. She kept slapping her forehead when Hardip kept saying that their example is irrelevant. THEN the world's most SARCASTIC sentence was said by Hardip: " Yes! Slap it 1 more time! Harder! Maybe this time u'll let it in and u'll understand. "
Whole class burst into laughters!!
Seriously! This is what happen if anyone tries to act smart infront of Hardip, he'll just shoot u kao kao!

I had my PR class today. I am beginning to love it. PR for one thing, a subject that I had the slightest idea about (in sem 1, Mass Comm, I didn't read this chap!) and I'm glad I have interesting lecturers. So far, for sem 3, I am very impressed with the classes. I think that's how learning process should be, loud and comfortable.
So, Mr. Hardip was telling us numerous stories while explaining the responsibilities of PR Practitioners. F1 story, Agong story, Hi5 factory. They surely cracked us in up some ways.
"Class, remember ar, this is a liberal class" which means he doesn't mind we coming to class late, or get out from the class!

Hardip showed us a 50min documentary in his PR class today. He was trying to let us know that everybody can be a PR practitioner in their daily life. This documentary had been produced by 3 amateurs that has absolutely no idea what is movie-making. They just wanted to do a documentary on the childrens at Northern Uganda which almost the whole world didn't care about & doesn't give a damn about it.
There was an on-going war for almost 20 years over there. The rebels abduct childrens in Northern Uganda and train them to be a killer/fighter to topple over the government. They were big enough to carry the gun & small enough to kill. How ironic. Those that didn't obey got killed. These childrens lived in fear, everynite they would travel to the hospital and sleep at the verandas. It is a sanctuary to them. All of them were afraid to sleep at home fearing that they will get abducted in the middle of the night.
Thanks to these 3 whacky guys, the whole world came together and alot of changes had been made to help the invisible children, just bcoz of 1 video =) . Im trying to search for the movie to dl, meanwhile please visit http://www.invisiblechildren.com to understand more about this tragedy. The war hasn't stop till now!

So my PR presentation didn't suck, but it far from went well I think - of course, with the exception of AA and BB who were, well, exceptional. I've got this bad habit of laughing out loud when people mispronounce words, and Hardip realised that. *runs and hides*
After class, I told him that his class was the best this semester and he responded with a "yeah, right". I honestly meant it. His was the only class I didn't dread going to. The only class in which my work was promptly handed-in, with not much procrastination. His was the only class that I actually took something home from. Thanks...here's to another semester!
Excerpt-6
Hardip, my PR lecturer, asked the class about having a best friend of the opposite gender. My presentation today was a made-up story on how I read my friend's diary and how I used my 'natural PR skills' to solve the problem - he just wanted to watch us present...not all our assignments are sh*t-easy.
