Welcome to
PerchAimFire! If you coincidently stumbled upon it, congratulations on your
discovery!
I'm a public relations practitioner, a social sciences lecturer and an established freelance
photographer. When the going get's tough, the tough goes blogging!
:) It's therapeutic, really!
This blog was created for no apparent reason and addresses no
specific issue. All postings are casual in nature, ranging from
personal to social engagements. Yup, that's all it has, no-brainer
posts :)
All comments are moderated so be nice. If you can't be nice... (I'm
still trying to figure what goes here).
This prayer is an original composition by Ruby and I, translated from our Ardaas:
Bless this marriage, Waheguru-Ji (God), as Ruby and I begin our journey down the road of life together. We are young and naive, and do not know what lies ahead of us. Please help us to surmount the challenges of life and make the best of everything that comes along our way. Help us to honour the love, care and sacrifices of our dear parents, for without them, we would not have been blessed with this union.
Help us to always enjoy each other the way we did when we first met.
Help us to hug each other often, talk and laugh a lot.
Help us to respect each other's likes and dislikes, opinions and beliefs, hopes and dreams and fears.
Help us to realize that nothing or no one is perfect and to look for the good in all things and all people, including ourselves.
Help us to learn from each other as well as support each other to grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Help us to realize that there is design and purpose in our lives as in the world; if we will hold onto each other, we will know that things have a way of working out for the good.
Help us to create for our future children a peaceful, stable home of love; a foundation on which they can build their lives the way we have through Your grace and blessings from our parents.
Help us for as long as we live, to keep lit the torch of love that we now share in our hearts.
And above all, Waheguru-Ji, we thank You for bestowing so much upon us, from life and sustenance to living in grace and appreciation.
