Our Wedding - The Beginning
The overwhelming request to upload our entire collection of photos will not be obliged. But if you're really interested to view the photos, Ruby and I would be more than willing to meet-up with you at anytime, anywhere and of course, armed with our albums :)

I've downsized (low-resolution for quick loading) selected photos that will be shared in this entry and upcoming posts. Shortlisting from a pool of over a thousand images proved to be quite a challenge as every photo is significant to us. So, for your viewing pleasure... here it is:

Now, here are some photos of what transpired just
a day or two before the wedding. Since most of the
preparations had been done, I only went on leave
two days before the wedding. Had enough time to
work on the nitty-gritty.

And that's our residence! Buddy Gurmeet did a
fantastic job with the canopy. He even offered to
extend it to the street. Thanks bro. Fine job.

Introducing Sunita a.k.a. Sun, my one & only sister in law.
She did a brillant job with the lettering, which was crafted by
another buddy, Sunil Sachdev. He made a complimentary
set for the bedroom too. Sweet!

Haha... me! That was probably my only contribution
to the room & house decoration. Left it all to the
good hands of Dad, bro Jagdip & Sunita.

Now, if you have watched Bollywood films, you'd
know what our weddings are like. You can't do
without the deco. That's Jag working on the final
bit of the centre-piece. Very impressive.

Sun & Jag - the finishing touch

That's Dad & Sun assisting Ranjeev in the porch.
Ranjeev, the Best Man, is my cousin from Penang.

After sorting out the home deco, Sun took Mom on
a pedicure-manicure escapade. They appear to be
wearing some kinda uniform! Coincidence, maybe.

Ranjeev and I at Samy's (my barber). Samy is one
awesome thamby from Madras, who shaped my beard
throughout the few month before the wedding.

My BestMan Ranjeev & Righthand Man Raj.
This was in KL, just moments before we drove
home with the vintage wedding ride.

The Bufori MKII Sports Roadster.
A classic beauty, innit?! :)

Prior to this, Ruby and I went for 'fitting' just to be
sure we could comfortably sit in the car. This shot
was taken just as we were about to leave for home.

At home, elegantly parked in our driveway.
Most cars slowed down as they passed our
house, just to get a glimpse of her beauty.

The Bufori MKII is a handmade sports roadster - twin-seat convertible with soft top, 2.2litre rear-mounted boxer engine, rear wheel drive, 4-cylinder, DOHC, EFI, water-cooled, 4-speed manual transmission; 4 wheel independent suspension.

Here's a video of Raj, Ranju and I when we to collect this classic beauty from Kuala Lumpur. Go ahead and watch our antics :)

The Comeback
G'day folks! Haha... I'm very much alive and kickin' :) Yes, I know it's been eons since I posted anything worthy to be read. Five weeks ago, I confidently claimed that I'll be sharing our wonderful experience of getting married, which obviously didn't happen. So much for dedicating the month of September towards that cause... *sigh*

My absence was primarily due to getting adjusted to a new life, a new routine. It's been quite an experience thus far for both Ruby and I. Certainly an experience in a positive direction. Though we're pretty much settled-in, the days are still generously offering us new lessons in life. We see ourselves consciously reminding each other to be optimistic in all that we do. So far, with His grace, it's going more than just good.

Many have reminded us that it's only the beginning. Indeed. But this is the case with all new chapters of our life, innit? Think new school, new job, new relationship. Now, don't shoot me for making such a shallow comparison but the point is - did you make the most out of it?

This reminds me of the 90/10 principle, which I'd love to reiterate to some people who keep cautioning us on the initial rosy-6-months of living a married life. I firmly believe what lies ahead is a product of our own doing (err... with occasional and inevitable influence from external factors!).

Anywayyy... now that I'm back in business and have all the wedding photos sorted, I will be sharing our experience in small digestible bites :) This time round, I promise to make it happen!

Stay tuned...
